What is leukorrhea?
Leukorrhea is an infection of the vagina that most often occurs in women between the ages of 15 and 44. It is caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis, which is spread through sexual contact.
Symptoms of leukorrhea include a discharge that may be yellow or green, pain during intercourse, and itching. The discharge can be accompanied by vaginal irritation, including soreness and redness.
